oskar's photo for june

stranded

a whole lotta grunts and gurgles emanating from our room. i arrived to find carlo hanging out the side of the cot.

an owl in the forest

more clay fun on a cold afternoon. oskar is a treat at embellishing the clay - feathers, sticks, texture - but this time he wanted an owl. i helped. he made the nest in the forest.

school bus trip

oskar's toddler class at childcare were lucky enough to go on a bendy bus trip to the bus depot to see the mechanics and take the bus through the bus wash. a family portrait of us on the bus.

can i have a fruit platter please?

every morning alex is woken by oskar ever so politely asking "can i have a fruit platter, alex?" today, though, alex slept in and i got up to make oskar's fruit platter. i'm not sure what alex does, but oskar was pretty impressed with this offering. and yes, that is more yoghurt - the boys are addicts...

yoghurt

carlo has enjoys his dinner (tonight organic parsnips mashed with tofu and orange juice, and whole steamed dutch carrots). but the part he looks forward to most is his nightly bowl of yoghurt - organic goat, margaret river peach and mango, jalna vanilla, blueberry soy - it doesn't matter what the type, he loves it. tonight oskar decided to join in the yoghurt joy, eating straight from carlo's bowl with his fingers and feeding carlo with his spoon. alex couldn't resist the charms either and he too, partook of the june 11 yoghurt festa.
