three cheers for clay

oskar had a crafty day at beth and kyan's house playing with the clay and creating a couple of very nice pieces. unfortunately he rolled this one out but re-worked it into a beautiful textured piece with native seed embellishments - and those eyes! (photo to come later)

we decided to drive back to canberra, with a couple of stops on the way. nambucca heads at sundet with orange juice and pizza, table setting for one aka carlo, and a fully packed car.

christmas breakfast at the apartment with a delicious pandoro and champagne, oskar opening his presents (and carlo's presents)and carlo trying out his new christmas stocking for size (thanks nana jenny).
then we went to uncle milton's and had an interesting lunch. thanks sam and dave. and then back to the beach for the afternoon.

we spent christmas at burleigh heads, GC in a less than stylish apartment (which we renamed the penthouse due to its penchant for artificial flowers, glass topped table and million dollar views).
oskar led the day with his antlers and beach antics (and terrific LA inspired vent-brushed locks), and carlo finished the day crowned in gold with his first bon-bon booty.

a recent trip to sydney

a recent trip to sydney to catch up with ole and his partner desiree who flew out from denmark. the weather was tragic and instead of sunning it up on bondi a la paris, we ended up at the aquarium instead. sharks are scary!
