an afternoon at central park

first we went to the whitney gallery biennele. then grabbed some lunch to takeaway from a deli on madison and walked to central park to sit beside the lake and picnic. oskar is with nina and camille.

after lunch we strolled to the central park zoo to see the penguins, sea lions and polar bears.

f train to manhatten

every trip, every time, irrespective of the time, oskar is asleep by the second station (approx 7 minutes).

we took oskar to cookies - a shop on dean street, brooklyn - for him to sample his first cupcake. yes, of course he loved them.

nino's pizzeria is the local pizza joint where a slice is usually enough for an adult. oskar tackles his first slice and only left a thin crust
