oskar wanted to paint a picture of a lion to send with uncle milton to nana jenny when he meets up with her in sweden in a couple of weeks. so we got out the paints, the plates, the pens, the staples and made a fantastic lion. after we added the body though, we realised it could not be sent. so this one is for you jenny...

any thoughts from anyone about the appearance of lions in your dreams? they keep oskar awake nearly every night.

ok grabbed the two old fence posts and found his stocks. first they were on the grass, but then he realised there was no snow. so onto the sandpit he goes. yes snow. we think we will take him to ski lessons this year - he looks a natural!

the single best item we have ever bought for the kids

chariot cougar 2 - cause it carries two kids in this perfect suspended trailer. comes with jogger wheel, bike attachment (seen in photo) and stroller wheels. if i were a bit more of a thrill-seeker, i could get the cross-country ski attachment and a hiking attachment. given ok's penchant for skiing (see photo above), perhaps we should rethink the ski option.
