pinnewela elephant orphanage

last friday we took a trip to kandy and nuwara eliya and stopped at the pinnewela elephant orphanage along the way. these photos are taken at the river where the elephants go to have a bath. oskar couldn't believe his eyes when he saw a river full of elephants (and bowling ball sized elephant dung which raised a resounding "kaka" - sinhala for poo).
